The Irish Open 2018

5th to 8th July 2018

Since the Scotsman George Duncan won the first Irish Open in Portmarnock in 1927 the tournament has held its share of historic moments in European Golf.

This year, the first the Irish Open has been held in Donegal, will see Jon Rahm defending his victory last year against the likes of Rory McIlroy and perhaps even Tiger Woods.

It is one of the great and historic events on the European Tour, raised to a new level in recent times by the commitment of our title sponsor Dubai Duty Free and by the support of our own Rory McIlroy and his Foundation as hosts. The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open has also been elevated due to its inclusion as part of our new Rolex Series, a transformational development for the European Tour which is now in full swing. The Rolex Series has many positives but one of the most important in terms of playing experience is the quality of the golf course.

We are an unofficial, not-for-profit fan site which has no affilation with The European Tour, The Rory Foundation or Dubai Duty Free.
